On Friday, we had some time between Eric’s sessions, so we drove over to Ocean Beach for a cliff-side walk and visit to California Wile Ales. We got to see a ton of pelicans, people walking dogs, and crashing waves. The sun had come out after a long period of rain so people were generally in a good mood.

Later in the trip (and while staying on Pacific Beach), we took daily walks on the boardwalk and managed to experience a few good sunsets and some amazing surf moves!

Even though it was a bit chillier (and rainier) than normal, we love San Diego and this trip in January is always a great start to the year.
