The day started with our traditional free buffet breakfast and the usual swarm of birds. Since the tram was only running one car we walked over to the tennis courts. By the time it took us to walk, the tram would just be arriving to pick us up. We played our last round and I was able to last for the full hour with help from the cloudy conditions. It started to sprinkle a little near the end which (of course) made it cooler, but a little difficult to play. I decided to layout in the sun for an hour to even out my tan/burn while Eric wandered the grounds and took some more pictures.

We met back at the room and then I went to the spa to get an aloe wrap while Eric went snorkeling again in the resort lagoon. I knew I had to try something spa related and my herbal wrap was wonderfully relaxing. Afterwards I lounged in a dry heat room (sauna) for a bit to relax and to warm me up since my wrap was "cooling."

I got back to the room and Eric arrived shortly after to tell me he had come across Green Sea turtles while he was snorkeling. They swam right up to him to check him out! I was extremely jealous, but very happy for his experience. And it turns out that we had left messages for each other about 5 minutes apart on the machine because we were both running late. Since the Provision Company was randomly closed due to low occupancy levels at the hotel, we decided to drive back into Kona for dinner.
While walking around town for a bit, I bought my brother a Hard Rock Café shirt. Michelangelo's on the beach wound up being a fantastic last dinner in Hawaii. I had pan seared Ahi tuna (again!), Eric had a parmesan pasta dish, and we split a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc.

Afterwards we visited the Bad Ass Coffee Company for two scoops of their coffee ice cream - they had to put a bit of coconut ice cream on top because they ran out of coffee - but we didn't mind at all!

We finished the ice cream while enjoying the waves, then headed back to the car to drive home. On the way to the car we couldn't resist looking for a coconut bra for my sister. Unfortunately, the right size was no where to be found even after having the guy look in the back for extras. We went to bed tired and happy, prepared to get up early the next morning so we'd get back on Chicago time.
