Directions: Along Hwy 1 at Girdwood (35 miles south of Anchorage), turn north on Aleyska Hwy. Drive 2.6 miles and turn right on Timberline Dr. (unsigned, 0.3 miles past bridge over river). Drive 1.0 miles to the end of the road and park. The signed trailhead is beside the house at end of road.
