As we do every summer, we headed over to Bailie Beach several times for sunset. This year the jingle shells were incredibly abundant, to the point where we stopped looking for them. Osprey were also plentiful this year.

For one sunset we visited Breakwater Beach, and it seems that all the terns had the same idea this year as they had a significant colony on this beach.

Besides beach walks we spent an afternoon exploring the Landcraft Garden Foundation, using the reciprocal privileges of our Airlie Garden membership. We were pleasantly surprised at the extent of this garden, which featured lots of outdoor rooms with flowers in bloom, outdoor art, and water features. As a bonus there is a good amount of shade too, which was appreciated on a strongly sunny day! Signs at the front warn about ticks so we were vigilant in our checks, but both of us were unbothered.
