The first day of our trip took us from Durham to Atlanta, and along the way we stopped in Greenville, SC for lunch at a brewery and photos of an urban waterfall. Parking was surprisingly hard to find mid-day on a Friday! Thankfully, Eighth State Brewing has a large parking lot so we stopped there first.
Eric got a flight of four sours: Playing Strangers, Found Out, I’m No Linguist, and Change. Linguist tasted like a cocktail but was too bitter for Eric, I got a full pour of the Playing Strangers which was more of a smoothie style sour; Found Out was the overall fave (with mango and marionberry). We also split a very messy Cuban sandwich. Overall, Eight Street was good but surprisingly pricey.
Since we had a parking spot we walked the half mile over to Falls Park on the Reedy. It was a fairly warm February day and the park was quite active on a Friday afternoon, with many people enjoying the famous waterfall at the heart of the park.
It is not very often that you see a waterfall located in the middle of a city! Content with our photos we walked back to our car and continued on our journey.
