waterfalls, lakes and rivers in Alaska

As most of you know, we love waterfalls and Alaska had some lovely specimens to share.

In addition to the waterfalls, there were other bodies of water everywhere! One of the great benefits of glaciers all around you means there are lovely sky reflections in marshes, lakes, rivers and inlets.

As you can see from the photos the weather and lighting conditions were quite variable and occasionally dramatic, just like the landscape. Alaska is a truly beautiful place…
