Cooking classes in foreign countries are a great way to not only learn how to cook new things but also to learn about the culture of the place you are visiting. Asian adventure 2011: Chiang Mai cooking class

We both love Thai food, so when the opportunity came up for me to take a Thai cooking class in Chiang Mai I was all for it. Unfortunately, this meant I had to miss the Elephant Nature Park experience, but I'll just make Eric take me the next time we're in Thailand. :) Yui and her husband pick you up in a powder blue VW bus - which is pretty awesome. I found out last week that due to circumstances beyond her control, a friend of mine could not attend a chocolate class she had signed up for weeks ago. There was no opportunity for a refund so she asked if I would go instead (and report back with recipes and notes, of course).
