Riesling is happy to be home!

We are on our way to San Francisco, and pup thinks she’s going - really, she gets to stay at Camp Bow Wow.

We went to a schnauzer meetup this afternoon in Cary (NC) - Riesling burned some energy and we enjoyed the sunshine!

Today we spent the day in the desert, hiking past wildflowers and a small stream on our way to a palm oasis. We were a bit worried when we woke up this morning because it was raining and chilly in Julian, CA. Thankfully, the rain stayed on that side of the mountain and we remained (mostly) dry during our day hike in the desert. Tonight we will be back in San Diego!

Leandra and I are in Tampa - me for an interview, Leandra to see her family. It’s 80 degrees and we’re sipping margaritas at a tapas place… happiness!

We got back into the country after about an hour delay at the border. From Niagara we drove out to the Finger Lake region to go wine tasting. So far we’ve been to four vineyards with two more to go!

We flew into Buffalo, NY, this morning and ended up in Niagara Falls this evening thanks to a ride from our friends Maria & Michael (thanks guys!). It is chilly, but not too much snow so far. Tomorrow we head to the Finger Lake region of NY for wine tasting…

We made it through Las Vegas (though Hertz sure made things slow) and we’re on our way to St. George, UT, for the night.
