a quick San Francisco update
We have been going non-stop for two days and are completely exhausted. We haven’t even reviewed all our photos!
So, in the meantime, here’s a shot to prove where we are…
It was the first time I’ve seen it and the Golden Gate Bridge is absolutely as spectacular in person as it is in photos.

It is spectacular.
About 10 years back I was in this summer program People to People and we had an 8 hour layover in San Fran so they had us take a tour around town. And one of the things that we did, well tried to do anyway, was to walk across the bridge! Well we were a little more than halfway and these cops come and tell us we have to go back! They thought we were some terroist group or something! Hello, there is like 20-30 kids from the ages 12-14 and 2 adults; yeah were terroists all right! LOL…So anyway we had to walk back! And that bridge is looong, plus our bus had already driven to meet us on the other side! So we had to call the bus people to get the bus to come back across to pick us up.
At least we all got a funny memory of San Francisco. I remeber liking The Pier 21, or whatever number it was, that had all these stores and things. I think that was my favorite place, but granted I was 12. I heard Chinatown in San Fran is like the best one, I want to go see it. Well hope you had fun. I just wanted to share my story; seeing the picture made me think of it.
Aloha,
Jessica
When we were driving across the bridge there were a ton of people walking across, so I guess you just hit someone on a bad day!
Chinatown was awesome, but we stayed near Union Square so it was pretty touristy, I was happy to stretch out beyond the city and see a little bit of nature. :)
