The last shoot for the chem videos I have been doing at work is tomorrow. They need someone for the physics demonstrations, but I turned them down. I'm satisfied with the title of 'chem video girl' only.
About my weekend... my car died on Friday morning and after having AAA jump it on Saturday and spending a few hours at Pep Boys, we discovered it was the battery and not the starter like we originally thought. Thankfully, this fixed the problem and I had my car back that afternoon.
On Sunday, a friend and I checked out the Southworks Art Festival, then Eric and I went to see X Men 2 (finally!)
Yesterday, I uploaded photos from our Cancun vacation and photos from Hadden and Kathy's wedding in Chicago. Enjoy!

Even though I managed to dump half of Eric's chocolate birthday cake on the floor after taking it out of the oven, everything else went well for his 27th.
...waiting for Annika to tee off for the second round of the Colonial. I really hope she makes the cut...
1. What brand of toothpaste do you use? Aquafresh Whitening. I have always been extremely picky about how minty my toothpaste tastes.
2. What brand of toilet paper do you prefer? No cheapy stuff, but we tend to get whatever we have a coupon for... Cottonelle is typical.
3. What brand(s) of shoes do you wear? Steve Madden, Doc Martens, and Old Navy flipflops. :) In other words, all kinds.
4. What brand of soda do you drink? I love Cherry Coke, but I only drink about two cans a week.
5. What brand of gum do you chew? I don't chew gum anymore, but my favorite used to be Big Red.

Today is Eric's birthday and it's raining cats and dogs outside. I was planning a romantic picnic at the botanical gardens, but as you can see from the current radar image below (we are AHN), that's just not going to happen. Plan B it is.

I am currently waiting for the IT people to come into my office and 'migrate' me by switching out my old PC with a new one running Windows XP.
My trip to Chicago was pleasant and warm. Even though it was partly cloudy on Thursday, I managed to get a few shots of the moon coming out of eclipse between 11pm and midnight central time.
Hadden and Kathy's wedding was beautiful and it was great catching up with some high school friends. I have been working on those photos and the ones from Cancun, so I'm hoping to have those up to show off in a few days.

Just a quick hello to let everyone know that I am alive and well after our week's vacation in Cancun. I have a seminar at work today, so I don't have time to write much, but I hope to have some Mexico photos up next week after I return from a wedding in Chicago this weekend. Busy busy busy.
