We just got back this morning from South Africa! Our trip was wonderful and very tiring. I still have a lot of photos to browse through (Eric took over 1,000 shots) for the online photo gallery, but here's a sneak preview in the meantime...

So, you see those photos that Eric took a few days ago, well... it was 75 degrees here yesterday. The weather down here is certainly unpredictable.
And some folks will be happy to know that my hair appointment was easily rescheduled for Saturday morning. I now look presentable for my vacation. :)
This Sunday, we found a couple waterfalls that eluded us last year and throughly enjoyed the beautiful weather. I ran a bunch of errands yesterday, picking up a few more last minute things for our trip. I can't believe we are going to be sitting on a plane for 15 hours. I have been saving up crossword puzzles and magazines for the trip and picked out a journal to record all the things we do in Africa. I will do another travel site like our honeymoon pages for this trip. It will also help me remember things better when I get back and have to sort through all the photos Eric will be taking.
This time tomorrow we'll be boarding a plane to South Africa!
