Post Doc Brewing – Our flight landed a bit early, so we had just enough time to stop in here for a quick beer before they closed. The bartender was very friendly and mentioned there was no rush as they didn’t allow anyone new in after 10pm but would stay open until midnight for those already present. I tried the ghost pepper pumpkin porter which had a manageable bit of heat and nice sweetness. We liked the relaxed atmosphere and would definitely return on a future visit to Redmond.

Collective on Tap – Amidst wine tasting, we stopped in here for a late lunch.

Black Raven – It almost doesn’t matter how the beer actually tasted here as the service was downright rude. One of the kegs kicked before the bartender could finish a pour so she huffed off to change it. She returned a short while later and we grabbed our beers and found a table. Within 20 minutes, right at 10pm, the same bartender started flicking the lights off and on to encourage everyone to leave. I wound up leaving half a beer (that wasn’t very good anyway).

Peddler Brewing Company – We were meeting friends in Ballard for dinner on Saturday night, so we decided to give this place a try for a beer beforehand. All the staff was dressed up for Halloween which made for some fun people-watching. The black ale was nice, not too hoppy with nice roasted malts.

Berliner Pub – On our last night in Seattle we met friends down in Renton for a beer and some German inspired eats.
