Thankfully, the rain let up for the rest of the trip and we were able to walk around Bruges without having to constantly duck into doorways. Spring was in full swing and all the green gardens and blue skies made for some lovely photos among the canals and cobblestone streets.
typical road in Bruges
beautiful red tiles roofs along the canal
a quiet alley (doesn’t mean a car won’t try to drive down here at lightning speed though)
canal overlooking the Van Eyck statue
Markt Square
Bruges belfry at dusk
We split our time here between wandering the alleyways with our cameras and drinking beer – it’s hard to come up with a better way to spend your time in this scenic city.
